Alastair Sidford
Alastair began his golfing career in Dunedin as a 5 year old, moving to the Canterbury region and onto the representative selectors radar early on, going on to represent Aorangi, Wellington and Canterbury. Alastair was a Canterbury and NZ U21 champion and was part of the 1992 Eisenhower team. Alastair turned professional in 1994 and competed on the Australasian circuit till 2002. Taking over the Proshop business at the then Hutt Golf Club , Alastair established a reputation as a leading teacher and golf business operator. Today Alastair is the Golf Operations Manager and head Pro at Boulcott's Farm Heritage Golf Club, and has established a reputation for innovating and running fantastic age grade, Women's and new to golf programmes as well as being a lead coach and manager in the Wellington Talent Development, and Representative programmes.
